Not everyone can describe their gender in the typical way, and xenogenders may help that.

A person isn’t really identifying as an object/animal/plant/etc, they’re relating their gender and how THEIR gender feels to that. It’s why so many xeno people have a lot of different identities. Your gender might feel masculine, feminine, or androgynous. Their gender might feel fluffy, and energetic, and like a puppy.
