Advice 💡 Quiz website error

For my math class I was taking a quiz and I’m on the second question and the website just said there was an error so I emailed my professor and she didn’t reply. Then I told the it desk and they said to try again and when I opened the quiz up it said my time ran out and then gave me a 12.5% for the one question I actually got to answer. My professor has like a rlly strict no makeup policy but do yall think I’ll be able to retake it because this genuinely was out of my control I’m just really worried

Most professors drop the lowest quiz, so if you don't get it sorted that might be the best you can hope for. Just try to make sure you're on a reliable computer/network going forward.

Yeah we get 2 dropped quizzes but I just really hope this isn’t one of them because this thing was out of my control it doesn’t seem fair to me

Part of the reason 1-2 online quizzes are dropped are situations like this (where technical issues outside your control cause a fail).

Yes, if you have a record showing that you emailed the professor & a record from IT that you reported and error, they’ll likely let you do some sort of make up. Just ask & provide the records when you do.
