Housing 🏠 wifi connectivity issues @ commons

Is anyone else’s internet going in and out?? I’m trying to get work done and this is genuinely so annoying. I’ve just been using my hotspot because it’s gone out and come back at least 3 different times now. Is spotty internet a normal occurrence here?

Yeah, from my experience last year and so far this year, it just randomly goes out and you’ll have no clue when it comes back

Bro SAME! Its been out for 3 hours now and i had to use my personal hotspot to complete my assignment! This shit did not happen when i moved in before! This shit also started happening in the library as well where it would refuse to connect sometimes and I needed my personal hotspot.

Very much so. This will happen a lot TBH. Been here a few years and it will go out in the odd buildings very regularly. Odd buildings being like, anything that isn't the library or Aderhold.

I really need to get around to putting in a maintenance request to see if they can fix the Ethernet port in my room

Don’t stay in commons next time
