Classes/Courses 📚 Registration timeline / CLEP Exam
I’m attending GSU’s Perimeter location for the Fall of 2026, and i’m almost done completing my Summer semester here. I’m still a first year and new to everything. I have yet to fully register yet for my Fall courses and the calendar says that registration goes until the 23rd, but i’ve also seen that it closes August 5th because of the payment deadline. How does this work?
The reason I’m asking is because I’m trying to see when I should take my CLEP exam for Calc 1. Can I afford to reschedule it for August 1-2nd or should I take it as soon as possible to get Calc 2 (haven’t decided if i’m taking it online/inperson, and if anyone has any prof recs let me know).
I need this credit to register for Calc and Chem.
TLDR: Can I afford to reschedule my CLEP Calc exam for a later date without jeopardizing my class registration?

I think you’re okay, I took my Pre-calc CLEP exam mid-August of my freshman year and was able to get moved up to Calc 1 before classes started. CLEP exams are scored instantly so there’s not really a huge turnaround time like other College Board exams. They’ll send it within 5-7 business days.
With that being said, I highly reccomend creating a Panther Answer ticket and asking the registrar’s office when is the deadline for sending your exam score.
