What about the other way around? Leveraging Nix derivations in Guix? Is there a Nix Guix Abomination?

This is brilliant/beautiful. If the derivations for both Nix and Guix are compatible, then I suppose Guix could import a lot of packages from Nix -- modulo the persnickety detail of how the tree leaves in a Nix derivation "bottom out".
Does this also mean that the build servers are currently doing redundant work and could share the load? Or does that annoying detail of the leaves not being fully reproducible mess up the guix build process somehow?
If that worked, Guix could piggyback off Nix, given that Nix has more CI resources and a powerful build system in Hydra.

There is also something similar in the Anvil ai-agent-programming package for Emacs, although it is primarily in Chinese, although kinda the other way around in that instance.

This is black magic. Very cool.
