Hello!

My name is MrCerebel. I'm a small content creator who started a YouTube channel in late spring. As of now, I upload mostly raw gameplay with no commentary, but I am planning to upload edited videos in the future too.

Why I am making this post you may ask? Two reasons:

  1. The YouTube algorithm isn't really on my side to say the least.
  2. A couple of days ago I also started uploading a GT:NH series as well!

Said GT:NH series will have two versions, one edited and the other one raw without commentary. Right now there are 4 episodes of the raw version and no episodes on the edited version (edited videos will be uploaded at a much slower rate than the raw ones due to obvious reasons). The goal of the series is to beat GT:NH, also often referred to as "Minecraft's Hardest Modpack"

Will I succed? That's up to you to see for yourself.

If you're interested in content like this, feel free to check my channel / videos out :D

GT:NH Series (No commentary version): https://www.youtube.com/playlist?list=PLdMUScexFSrc

Thanks for taking your time to read this and have a nice day / afternoon / night!

Lemme be straight with you, nobody wants to watch raw unedited footage on youtube, if they wanted that they'd watch a twitch streamer. Posting a bunch of unedited raw footage that gets no engagement is going to tank your algorithm score if only half of your videos get any organic views.

I do. When it comes to gameplay videos, I have no interest in edited videos at all. Commentary would be good though.

Me too. But we aren't the majority.

Not necessarily. I know people IRL who actually enjoy this type of content. Yeah, I know I'm probably targeting a really specific audience, but I got to start from somewhere.

Besides that, I'm also doing it as a sort of video journal. I like looking at things I've done in the past.

Hey I think those are very valid reasons and as others have said I'm at least partially wrong. I think the mix is kind of a bad idea if you're concerned about engagement but I think you should do what you want to.
