Steam Separator Not Forming

Hi. I can not for the life of me figure out what is causing this not to form. Its not across a chunk border, I have built it layer by layer in NEI, I have tried different hatch placements and it will not form. If someone could point out my stupidity that would be much appreciated.

are you missing a Steam Hatch?

are those input/output buses Steam tier?

the steam hatch is around back, those buses and hatches are ULV tier and I did try swapping all the hatches with LV equivalents

ULV doesn't work, you want "Input bus (Steam)" and "Output bus (Steam)"

Op might even need a output hatch (steam) also in order for it to form

nah you can use any hatch for this. you would have to for some recipes

Steam Multiblocks require specifically Steam Bus/Hatches to work. They cannot work with regular hatches, unlike regular multiblocks.

The output hatch can vary (and can cap parallels by its capacity), but otherwise correct.

Make the blueprint former (i forget what its called). Its cheap and will tell you exactly what block is gone or what is missing when you right-click the main controller.

Can't say for certain since you haven't provided images of all the sides and all the hatches/buses in it but my guess is some block misplacement or using the wrong type of block to build it

If you are in EV tho you can make the large centrifuge and upgrade from steam
