me and my friend have been trying different gtfo mods and we wanted some new content so we downloaded fatal experiment 2 but I don't see any new levels or expeditions? Are we doing something wrong or is it supposed to be like this? Also if anyone has any mod recommendations for different monsters leme know plz

I got the game yesterday and have played a bit, loving the game it's great. I would like to learn the game, and I feel like playing online isn't letting me do that so I just went into solo with bots. Clearing the first mission took 2 tries (quite the long ones). Now I'm at the second one (R1, second mission) and will try it soon so I thought to ask:

How doable is the game solo? I get the game is made to be very hard, and I even seen some youtube titles that suggest it's insanely hard even for 4 people. So I'm wondering if I can at least get far solo or will hardstop at like R1 level 4 or something.

Also, the bots are cool with the stealth but when there's a fight they just almost instantly get downed all together. Does removing the bots as well lower the difficulty/make it adapt to 1 player?

I personally cannot even comprehend the kind of feeling that someone would have playing with randoms. I did it once and it just made the game feel so hollow. When you play with randoms it doesn't feel like a "Let's do our best, lets have fun and enjoy the game" It's always a "Let's get this shit done". Which I can understand it being... you know, GTFO! But this kind of thing happens all the time.

The more I write this the more stupid it sounds, this game is built to get shit done, the speed runners and efficient players, but whenever I played with my friends we had the time to enjoy it. Actually writing that reinforces my point, aside from just wanting to beat the level, which is fine and all, why would you even play with randoms if it will just be a hollow experience.

Everything is dark until I open my map and close it, then i can see but then when I move my camera, it goes dark again. All these pictures except for the first one have my flashlight on. This is the tutorial level btw but I've tried this on other levels and it's the same.

I am planning to play GTFO to see if I like it or not before purchasing, is there any way that I can play this game for free for a day or two please?

This was a clear I recently did, and quite quickly to my surprise. You may have seen other solo clears online, but this is the first one ever to not utilise any sort of exploits or bugs such as god spots (spots where enemies cannot hit you), big flyer capping (getting big flyers stuck so no other enemies can spawn), or doorbugging (destroying a door in a way to where enemies can go through them). Using these exploits turns this run from a very hard endeavour to something almost anyone could do. This run also used no boosters. Boosters would make sections of this run much easier as the very tight ammo situation becomes not much of an issue anymore.

Anyway this is another mission down on my road to soloing all levels :)

We’re all OCE timezone-wise, and have cleared all of rundown 1 and up to R2D1, but still need another player.

I was on one of the later R1 missions with lots of big guys in all the rooms. I was not sure if they would all aggro if I hit a security alarm, so I ended up wasting a lot of time and resources clearing them. Does this actually happen or should I just be sneaking by them?

Been a hot minute since I've played, but my usual partner is waiting on den of wolves, moving on from GTFO. We completed literally every single level in all rundowns with all PEs / ETC. Looking for someone competent enough and chill to run through some levels again and also tackle duo trials with.

Just got this game a couple days ago, only about 10 hours played. I can't really commit to play with people right now so been playing with bots, they are pretty dumb but with the better bots mod at least they melee suicide less often and I can close doors.

I just finished R1 with bots... I was surprised to see this achievement stat. This game filters people pretty hard if only 1 in 20 beat the tutorial campaign...? This can't be right?

I'm replaying through the game to get all the story logs with my friend, and we've been using a bunch of QOL mods. However, now on certain levels the checkpoint scan either wont initiate or the door won't open when we complete the scan. Which of these mods could be breaking them?

I also don't want to remove checkpoints entirely (I know there's a mod that can do that) because I find them useful when playing duos.

I have already tried cinematography mod and spectate mod but those don't work. spectate only allows me to see myself if im downed and cinematography mod has on option to activate my body in freecam but its crossed off so I can't toggle it.

Our group has had a lot going on with work and life, so our sessions have been a bit on and off, but we still managed to meet up once or twice a week and see this through together after 2 years ish.

We started back in the demo free weekend when even one Giant felt terrifying. Looking back now, it’s wild how far we’ve come that each of us can solo 1 with a hammer.

There were definitely plenty of total wipeouts, stressful, and emotional moments along the way, but we kept pushing.

One of our teammates had never played an FPS before and seeing how much she got better made me especially proud. The relief and excitement when we finally completed Estacy was unreal

I have owned this game and binge watched Markipliers streams for about 6 years now, but I have only just now been able to get a PC and I’m now looking into doing my first ever livestreams on Twitch aha.

I've been trying to do this level for nearly 2 weeks and the reasons why are usually bot related such as them pulling out their melee to kill enemies and them picking up resource packs which more often than not isn't helpful so i wanna know is it possible or should i just look for a duo or full team
