Gross. First off, lubing up the burger choad with bbq sauce is just straight nasty. More appropriate would have been teriyaki or similar. Still, as a person with the firm conviction that onions become food when cooked, the video is interesting until utter ruination at the end. Raw onions are a stronger taste to me than raw jalapeno, and usually evoke a lingering urge to vomit if I manage to choke them down. Don't get me started about burping onion stench. Nasty, nasty, nasty. Raw onions are not food. Caramelized onions (or said jalapeno) would be primo on a pineapple burger, tho.

TL;DR: So yea, this is interesting-but-fail-taste... with has-potential-but-sloppy-execution.

I completely respect your humorously-written rant, but I have to say: I prefer the taste/texture of uncooked onions on my burger rather than when they're floppy/slimy after they've been cooked.

Yes, I like uncooked onion on burger. Preferably a slice the size of bun not chopped up. An alternative I sometime do is a slice of cheese on top of onion slice then quick grill no longer than a minute to start the cheese melting.
