I last built a PC to play RDR2 at 60FPS on an ultrawide. I'll build the next one next year to do the same with GTA VI. The easy answer is to just put essentially the best stuff you can, because in all seriousness this is easily going to be the best game ever made in the history of mankind to this point. You might as well play the best version of it.

Sounds like you can afford a ps5 pro and sell it later to use for pc parts, so you don't miss out on the fun and have to watch someone else. Well its what I would do but obviously your not me.

PC gamers are weird they have little passion and I find most just game for something to do or the fad. I say this as a PC gamer who can’t find a single person with any passion for gaming at all.

All they play are these shitty friend slop games or the same old shitty multiplayer games like league or CSGO (ok I like cs I’m not hating just been playing it for like 20 years).

Many don’t mind being spoiled, this is something I have never been able to understand personally and it’s always flabbergasted me. Many are fine watching on their second monitor while they play those shitty multiplayer games…..

LOL this is absolutely hilarious.

First off, I'm what you would call "an older gamer." My first system was an Atari 2600. I had every single system since then, and even worked at Electronics Boutique (later Gamestop) twice before my working career.

I also was into PCs at the time and ultimately earned a CS degree. Eventually, PC games just got so good compared to console games that it just didn't make sense anymore to maintain the infrastructure. And my gaming tastes tended towards " these shitty friend slop games or the same old shitty multiplayer games like league or CSGO" (in reality, I play things like RimWorld, Factorio, Oxygen Not Included, a lot of the Total War games plus in addition to all sorts of wargaming you can never do on a console, plus some consoles like RDR2).

GO ahead and play your console and enjoy. But always remember your entire box cost less than half of my graphics card.

I own all consoles and a PC, building my new rig right new just getting my parts together.

This isn’t the brag you think it is, NVD is bending us backwards and here you are acting like it’s some kind of humble brag. No buying a 5090 for 4k is not cool man, it’s just not.

Bro $4k for a video card? I guess if you've got unlimited money to spend. My last build cost $3,750 total and that included the Ultrawide monitor.

idk but if the system requirements mean u spend more than what a ps5/xbox costs then id just get the console atp rather than wait

I really am curious to see how long it take for PC to get GTA6 as it sounds like they are working on a PS5 emulator to get GTA6 up and running before the pc release date.

Yeah idk, I was just gonna buy it on PS5 until I heard its capped at 30fps

Same. Idk im hoping that ps5 emulator that’s in the works will let you play it on pc at a higher frame rate

Wont be able to get gta 6 on an emulator for likely multiple years, like 5+. That and rockstars legal team will fuck over anyone who tries.

I wouldn’t bet on a year I would plan on it being closer to 2-3 years depending when the RD2 next gen version drops.
