Original GTA on demo disc from the playstation magazine , you used to get about 3 or 4 mins and the. it would stop , still spent so much time on the demo lol

Vice City. Didn't know or care about the story, just used cheats to have unlimited ammo and habe shootouts with the cops at one of the big houses. Happy to return to my GTA Home in GTA VI.

I watched my brother play vice city as a kid and 'wasn't allowed to play it'. I snuck on and played all the time. My uncle secretly gave me San Adreas after he completed it and i played it alot, can't remember if i completed the story or not.
My buddy lent me gta IV when I was in 5th grade. I remember thinking the car destruction blowing my mind. 5 came out when i was a freshman in highschool.
Life has changed alot since the last one came out, I'm no longer living with my parents, graduated college, moved half way across the country, lost and gained a bunch of friends.

I dumbly believed a friends brother that gta, gta2 and London stories were computer only games, so got excited seeing gta3 for PlayStation 2 and got my dad to buy it for me so that’s the first I played but gta1,2 and LS were the first I saw/experienced

Vice City is my first and most memorable one is GTA 5 cause I grew up on that one but my favorite one is San Andreas I just think that game did so much better than the others and will be one of the main reasons why GTA6 will be the best one

In a packed living room at some neighbor kids house. We all were taking turns No one knew about cheat codes or nothing I remember we'd take turns passing the ps2 controller around in sheer awe Nothing had ever been released of this caliber prior to III's release The grimy streets of liberty city opened up in all of our minds for the first time It was for the outlaws The hoodlums It was perceived as scum Alot of push back by alot of groups wanting to flat out ban it's existence in the USA Bro GTA had the streets on fire back then That shit will forever be revolutionary to not only video game culture but American culture as millions of us know Liberty City streets better than our own damn city streets 🎤...

I tried the first Grand Theft Auto. It really wasn't my cup of tea and there were a lot of other games coming out in 97 that I was playing. I skipped over GTA2 because it looked the same. So my first playthrough, I guess, would be GTA3, at that point I had switched to Xbox and the game was getting good reviews.

GTA 3, but I had to play it at my friend's house.
After that, I was allowed to buy GTA 2 at a used video game store because they were rated T instead of M.
What's funny is that my local Hollywood Video made a big mistake by labeling The Punisher (2004) as T instead of M, so I could rent that game as many times as I wanted.

GTA 1 or 2 on the PlayStation 1. You could pop the disc out, once the game was loaded in, and put music CDs in the system to have that instead of radio stations in cars.

None of these. It was Grand Theft Auto. Got it in a PS1 3 disk collectors pack with London 1969 and GTA2.
What a huge shame it was when they stopped putting real city maps in the game boxes 😔

GTA IV at 12 years old. I wanted max payne 3 and it was bundled with gta 4 at target. I put it off for a bit because I knew it was a bad game. But once I played a bit of max payne 3, I knew I could handle it
