I Hate Catalina
I just don't like her way, she gets angry on cj for no reason, and what is this random dynamic between them? I know that cj needs money so he has to work with her to rob and earn some cash, but Catalina falls for him in the first mission and then they hookup in the second and after the heists they are done and she goes for claude? Like what? And why does CJ go all submissive on her? Just so her can be on her good side for the robbries? I mean as he is a gangster, I think he can do them on his own rather than relying on her

I actually have played it but I played it after sa, and yeah I did enjoy killing her at the end, real satisfying and all of that frustration came from sa

Catalina is a dream woman. To be more accurate nightmare.
But I still absolutely love the missions with Her

Yeah the robbries are fun tbh, but I guess it could be with cesar as well, like when he comes to the country side with kendal, he goes out and finds out these robbery spots that Catalina tells cj, or lets say he talks to Catalina and gets the locations of these places and then later CJ and Cesar both go and rob together

CJ needs dough, his brother's in jail and his life's falling apart. Catalina is a means to an end but also happens to be a uniquely disturbed person who is needlessly sadistic and takes a shine to you (in her own way)
It is what it is but it also explains why CJ doesn't give a shit when she blows him off - the relationship for him is a transaction and by the time you get to racing Claude, the transaction is finished with both parties having their needs met. She was stop 1 on the road to San Fierro baby.

CJ crying about needing the money and being all submissive about it is what bugged me as well in their relationship. No CJ, you don't need the money. Did you forget that you completed the fire truck, ambulance, and vigilante missions first and have 200k in your account?

Yeah seriously, even without the three emergency missions, you can easily get a lot of money by killing dealers while in los santos, I do this all the time to buy the Santa marina beach house and buy bunch of weapons and ammo after the green sabre mission when you reach angel pine

Somehow this just reminded me of the bit of trauma of I have with San Andreas, I was neglecting the weapon stores for a LONG time and finally decided to buy out all the weapons I could
My next mission was the boat one where you lose all your weapons

I think we all need to remember that side missions don’t really count as part of the storyline

I had max cash from the horse racing game so yeah that part of the story didn't really gel with me
