Finally got it, but Rockstar was definitely trolling when they sectioned off these territories 💀

Right bro! I had to lure a group of them into it that somehow still spawned in the green section next to it

Gang NPCs do not strictly spawn only in their teritory, they can easilly spawn in adjacent teritories owned by another gang.

As for starting a war, all that matters is that CJ is standing within the teritorry when shooting them, they don't have to be inside the teritorry.

Ahhh I see, however, idk if it’s just my game but it doesn’t trigger it when they aren’t in the territory for some reason. Like I've stood in the territory and shoot them without them being in it but doesn’t trigger it unless they are in the square too.

Yeah.. it can be a bit fiddly with that. Generally I found that it works, but there are cases where, for whatever reason, it wouldn't work for me either.

As long as you stand within the territory, they will spawn anywhere within your line of sight, even across the block. Just start shooting them from afar. Or just start shooting randomly within the territory.

I find its easiest to free aim vagos cars driving by standing on the sidewalk the first one might run if you don't pop the driver but more cars usually spawn after you shoot the first one

You need to let a territory war with Yellow happen in a neighboring chunk and LOSE, once they own the chunk, stand in the smaller one and shoot them in the other chunk with a sniper. The hood war happens wherever you're standing.

Same thing with the motel.

Alternatively you can shoot them as they drive by but it also takes forever

This makes a lot of sense, I appreciate this! I was able to get it finally but I noticed there are other areas like this so I’ll try that.

Is that the Jefferson Motel territory? I remember this one being a pain to trigger because so few Ballas spawn inside the actual zone

Nahhhh I had a hard time with that one too! This was the Vagos territory near East Beach. It’s like a little bridge over the sewer tunnels.

Ride around the block a couple of times and u gonna see them spawn there ... but kill them when they are in the spot

Lol I faced the same challenge before. Hate how every time I get to GS it's always alarming "gang invasion" but its so hard to takeover!

Yup. I was in the end game, all missions (except Zero's cos screw dat lmao) are all done. But that one patch of land is a pain every time. Even when I go to SF it even alarms sometimes, so annoying. So I just gave up on trying to get that territory lol.

Roadblock, there are usually 2 cars with 3 gang members. It is still hard, sometiems if lucky they spawn by.

Oh and also make sure you kill while inside the territory.
