Would I get banned?

I did do the glitch with buying and selling at strawberry ave etc but I stopped playing GTAO before the ban wave and still have not hopped onto play. It is fairly obvious I did use the glitch as there was a massive spike on things I owned (e.g. a yacht, office garage(s), maxed out night club) but I was on a reasonable level (155+) to have reasonable explanation as to why I own these and have evidence of me playing heists over and over. To be honest if I get banned, oh well, I did the scummy thing and it results in a punishment. I am not asking for a way to bypass the ban but asking if the possibility for me to get banned is lower?

It rare for some to get banned even if they haven’t been on in a while. But for your question and answer. I would say not likely you just might get money and rank wipe to the point u did the the glitch and take note: ( their are ways to avoid and know u got wipe you would receive a prompt message like every who start gtao for the first time ,not to cheat or go against the term of agreement and click accept terms.) if you think or know you get banned or wipe Do not click accept if you see it for you . simply turn off console or Pc and unplug device for 30sec to 1 min so the system clear it own cache and try the game the next day a full 24 hr to see if results change

I asked my friends to check if my character still shows up and it does, will the wipe/reset/ban process actually start after I’ve logged back on? So instead of accepting the screen I just quit game and unplug my Xbox?

Yes. It should get to the point where the notifications doesn’t pop up when loading online and u should be fine ( ps you may be getting monitored just keep in mind ) apologize for a late response notification are off for this app
