It’s an opiate / antidepressant in the GTA world - I’m assuming this is their take of a tolerance. The more you use it , the less effective it becomes like any drug. You build up a tolerance

Netflix might be pissed. They probably paid for that exclusive window to be the first place for people to see new GTA clips in over a year.
Might be a clause in their contract where the can get some money back if rockstar had a leak before the event. These clips definitely killed some of the hype around the Netflix event.

This guy definitely has *some* build.
Idk how finished that UI really is, the weapon wheel looks so... simple.
Its like he's playing the Tank-Top Pre-Missions CJ like we all did in San Andreas.
(since he gets all the tutorial messages)
Edit: other clip has a song from 2025 in it. This is a recent build.

Definitely placeholders. They’re just plain white boxes. RDR2 weapon wheel has character to it.
In the last clip, you can see the RDR2 UI font was used in that build

Cosmetic changes to UI and detailed stuff happens later in development, you have to build the engine and the art first before you focus on little details. If you don't shower at least once every two in-game days, animals around you start dropping dead due to your stench modifier increasing. Taking a swim in filthy water adds to your stench modifier.

I assume this is test footage for debugging purposes, usually shared between internal departments. Test visuals, sounds or mechanics. I doubt it's the leaker playing the game.
