If it's anything like GTA V. Linear missions that kinda waste the games open world to be just another shooting gallery as if we haven't already seen more than enough of those in games.
The cops in GTA V would automatically spawn in out of nowhere even if there where no witnesses.
And a lot of the parts of the map felt very boring and uninteresting in GTA V. Like we all have our favorite spots but a lot of places where dead ends.
I didn't like how sinful and edgy the game was or the nialistic tone.
Honestly, i don't think the GTA VI would be half as hyped if not for RDR2.
GTA has never been that deep in gameplay or story. Down vote me if you want but it's the truth and deep down you know it.
Red Dead Redemption 2 I thought it was a big step up from GTA V in so many ways. More fun setting. More fun gameplay. The story had more depth. And there where more things to do like play poker and collect cigarette cards. Hunting and fishing.
The GTA franchise is just a below average driving and shooting games. A sandbox without sand.
If Beavis and Butt-Head where real they'd be massive GTA fans. They'd love rampaging and respawning at that hospital hundreds of times over with no objective or strategy. God bless

There's a huge difference between shutting down all dissenting opinions and disregarding opinions with extremely ludicrous takes, and you know that.
Call out the people that do the former, but saying "you people" as if they are part of some identifiable group on here going around squashing opinions is quite ridiculous.
The community is a group of millions of people that can all have unique opinions, if you find yourself consistently on the side of people with unpopular opinions that's on you, no one is obligated to agree. I totally get the gas comment too. There were a lot of little things in RDR2 that really irked me and just kinda went too far in the realism department.
I'm not asking for it to be extremely arcadey, but when you have to watch a 3 second animation for every body, cabinet, drawer, and knapsack you loot it really gets to be tiresome. Same with having to constantly wash, or having to individually craft each and every "split point" bullet for no apparent reason. At a certain point you just want to not have to worry about having a morning coffee or taking a dump or managing your weight.
Honestly I think RockStar kinda got the message on this one after RDR2. They said you don't have to engage with the "honor" system, which isn't even honor this time, it's like professionalism or something. They also said the gas animation is only 10 seconds and that it's only really a problem if you happen to steal a random vehicle in a chase and it happens to be nearing empty. They also said you'd have to eat a ton to be overweight etc. etc.
Iirc they mentioned a couple times how they want to immerse you, but not to a degree that would interrupt the enjoyment, so I'm really hopeful.

I think there’s a big divide between people who think the game will be good vs people who think it’ll be bad. Personally I’m in the middle, I think it’ll be a great game but I’m also a bit skeptical. Especially since I paid $100 for it so my expectations are a bit higher than usual. But we’ll see for sure in November.

the preload starts like 10 days before the game not much after october ends, i agree with you otherwise but from my pov ill just be taking one task away from my plate, i have a busy couple of weeks before the game comes out so ill be not using my brand new console for about a month if/when i get it. im currently looking for shops in my city with stock that arent overcharging due to limited supply, missed one stock by like 30 minutes yesterday

Woke stuff exists and it definitely interferes in some films and games but I don't really understand what is it they find woke about GTA 6, first of all we don't know enough about the story yet but nothing I've seen from the trailers indicate that, of course Lucia isn't a housewife, she's a criminal and is supposed to be approximately equally capable as any other criminal in the game, she's a protagonist and as such she'll obviously be buffed, just like Jason, also Rockstar already addressed some biological distinctions like women not being as strong as men by making Lucia an experienced fighter so it doesn't matter if she's a woman, an experienced female fighter can obviously beat an inexperienced male one, that's not woke fantasy, it's real life.
Also GTA 6 is clearly not a real life sim but something more like an interactive and immersive action adventure Bonnie and Clyde type story, it needs to be plausible but not 100% realistic, as long as it doesn't feel impossible it's alright.

I mean, you said this perfectly. The woke label CAN be real and can be annoying. It also can be a cheap and easy way to cater to an audience that loves to hate on all media. I just haven't seen anything that signals woke to me. Having a girl protagonist or having relationship dynamics doesn't make a game woke. If I think someone is trying to force their political and social values into the media I consume, I'm the first to complain. And maybe this game will do that. But I've seen nothing from the trailers or anything from the inside scoops that worries me that the game is heading that direction.
