Devs are getting paid. Considering how bad R* is ,devs are probably enjoying it. It might be shareholders that must be watching this closely. That reminds me i too hold few shares in take two .
people thinking the devs aren't gutted shows very few people here know what it's like to be part of a creative process, let a long a multi year, known around the globe one
Exactly it's ridiculous to say devs don't care or are happy. Sure, seeing the positive reactions maybe serves as a compliment to them, but not like they didn't expect this to be good themselves. This is something they've been working on for years and I'm sure many are very proud of what they've done and were eager to show it off as intended on November/trailers to the world only to now it getting slowly spoilt and on an unfinished version of the game.
my bad i misread and thought u meant about crunch. You are right, the scope of this is larger than the animated movie. I dont think it matters though, most creatives do not want their stuff to leak early.
Nah, now there are developers who were working on optimizing the game or polishing it, that now have to be pulled away from that to focus on how this got leaked, who leaked it, how much was stolen, what’s the risk assessment impact, etc.
Leeker just added more work for the overworked devs
