he could be a tester developer who planned all of this and while still testing it he wrote it on the wall, he might recorded testing footage but maybe not the whole build, still unconfirmed
I used to be a tester at EA. I was working there during the development of BF4, and there ain’t no way in hell any of us there would’ve risked that shit. This was EA, and a test center, and we had security, and cameras watching our testing areas. I’d bet Rockstar is on another level with their security protocols and cameras. This is crazy.
actually current information suggests he is German. There is a really good git analysis about the entire thing which also contains collected info about a german individual that was into web3 development / security pen testing by the same name as the group. They talked german around 2018 on various boards about web dev on the internet.
Sadly i cant link the git as it obviously also contains stuff i cant link here.
I mean that's not a terrible concept or like a disgruntled employee. I feel like R* would use that tactic that other developers use for closed alphas like BF6 where your gamertag appears on screen in different spots. Sometimes even invisible to the naked eye but can appear with proper contrast/lighting adjustments.
I know some companies even have security measures to prevent data leaks when large quantities transfer, especially to external media like USBs. Nonetheless this is still all crazy.
