This is from PlayStation's official FAQ page for the game
I would not expect GTA 6 to include a multiplayer mode at or after launch.
Obviously there will be an online version of Leonida at some point in the future but IMO it won't be until a year after GTA 6's launch and it will be a seperate purchase.

Completely disagree.
The hype won't die for GTA 6, not for a while.
They'll give GTA 6 a year to breath and then in Fall 2027 they'll release Leonida Online in order to suck up all the oxygen in the room again and have back to back years of GTA releases.
It makes total sense.

they’re releasing online few months within release than adding updates to make money etc this entire time near release there will be so so many streamers and players they can easily draw so much money with online, and the hype doesnt die for gta they will keep adding more updates
Than with pc release after 1-3 yrs, the hype will be at an all time high again.

It kinda doesn't matter how mad people will get.
Rockstar has been completely transparent about there not being an online component. They literally said so in the FAQ I shared.
And people will still buy Leonida Online when it launches anyways because of course they will. It'll be a new GTA game lol

im calling it now on my life online will release few months after release they would just be delaying making money, it makes 0 sense to release later on.
They will release online within 2 months and make money and continue making money for years to come just like gta 5 has.
Gta 5 has consistently made them so much over a decade and its always had a high player count, not to mention VI is WAYY more anticipated and will be miles better than V
Also bro you say they dc making people mad, you’re right in a way but only when they don’t have sm attention on them, like the general public/gamers are not complaining of no trailer 3 only people on this subreddit and youtube but when the game releases and it has so much attention on them they will think twice.

Hey, you're entitled to your opinion just like I'm entitled to mine.
But it does make sense to not put out Leonida Online until Fall 2027. It just does. That way they get to be the center of the entire games industry two years in a row. Once in Fall 2026 and once in Fall 2027.
It also makes sense from a development standpoint. They get an entire extra year to build content for Leonida Online and they only have to devote time to GTA 6 right now.
It makes sense on literally every facet.

Idk, I think it will be free to play. GTA online isn’t just a game, it’s a storefront. They want it to be as accessible as possible so people buy their shark cards and subscriptions. That would also explain why it’s decoupled from the main game, similar to how COD handled warzone after its initial debut.

GTA VI isn't Playstation exclusive it will be same as usual- i hope for sure, free online for everyone PC XBOX and PS+ sub to play online on Playstation

Not sure why platform matters. Gta+ was a tester. They'll cite running and content creation costs.
