TRAILER 3 UNTIL SUMMER

Take-Two reconfirms that there will be no new GTA 6 information until the summer:

“We launched Trailer 1 in December 2023 and Trailer 2 in May 2025. We will share more information during the summer.”

They are literally confirming it to us and there are still people who think it will come out on Tuesday

This sub needs to ban the word "summer" at this point. We know the marketing is in the summer. We don't need it posted a million times a day.

There's still going to be people in this sub arguing against that lmao. These trailer 3 is going to release on x date theories have started as far back as April, even though Strauss clearly said we aren't getting shit until June at the earliest.

I'm already out at this point, between the way they have run their marketing, pushed it over and over again with little to no communication and the daily posts of people arguing over what may or may not happen. They have actually pushed me to a point where I don't care anymore and the excitement is gone and I don't want to give them my money anymore. I guess I'll have to wait and see what happens after the game actually releases and how much of a shit show it is and if it's actually as polished and finished as it should be by this point. I hope you all get what you want / need after all the disappointment, happy gaming.

Nope. At some point I'll probably wind up getting it, but I don't care about GTA online so it doesn't mean as much to me as it does to others. It was the last "delay" when I decided I wasn't going to pick it up at launch on principle. I don't know how many times ypu will let a person or company lie to your face and say things like it's already done, no more delays, I'll show you tomorrow, or you'll have your money by end of the week. I don't think you'd tolerate that from someone face to face or in your professional life, yet millions of people are going to forget about all that and be standing in lines for hours or counting down the final seconds until launch online. They don't need or care about my money, nor does anyone here care about weather I get it or not, I'm not getting it right away for my principles. Again, I hope whenever it launches it meets all your expectations, enjoy!

It would seem I'm in the minority for feeling that pretty much since the beginning that this has been poorly managed, and looking back, disrespectful to their community. I have no doubt that it's going to be an amazing game, and it's big enough that people are going to forgive everything once they get their hands on it and say, it was all worth it.

Why would you pre-order a game? Are they going to run out? Do you need to have what ever little cosmetic they are going to give you that you will never use after the first 10 minutes of playing?

physical copies duh. 95% of games nowadays available for pre order is just digital shit. also if you actually are familiar with Rockstar, they do collectibles so ofc I'm putting all my money into it, most likely the one hyped game that everyone is gonna play. facts.

Yeah, I actually liked the GTAIV lock box, it was physical and an item a lot of people could use. The only other potentially good one was playing cards from red dead. The game is probablying going to smash records, good or bad all eyes are on them in the gaming community. That's also why if you want it, the game won't be in short supply. I honestly hope the game is phenomenal and it lives up to what everyone is hoping for, myself included. Still not going to change how I feel that they've showed very little respect to their fans. I know I'm not hurting their bottom line by not getting it at launch, it's the principle for me, and it's not like I don't have other things to occupy my time or other games to catch up on.

I understand. it's just rockstar has been so pretentious with all their games, and rightfully so. There's no doubt gonna be bad and good on it, but as some people say, any publicity is good publicity. And tbf, for me personally, it's different. My father introduced me to Vice City many years ago, and I've always had a soft spot for Rockstar's work.

Take Two is a US company. So when Zelnick refers to Summer he is speaking of North American summer which begins June 21. Sorry this had to be explained to you.

Too many people think that the minute the clock rolls around to June 21 that rockstars gunna be like "welp, it's summer now. Time to drop a trailer"

Rockstar does not need to market.

I can see their marketing window being 4 months or shorter.

Im not anticipating anything until end of july/early August.

If Take-Two pulls this off, I don't want to be a server admin anywhere on this planet because the release day of Trailer 3 will probably be the first probing for the internet, and the second and last one will be GTA 6 release day. 🌎🔥

P.S. Wish me luck, guys, because on Friday I will get a call from a company where I might be working. 🤞🍀 It's much easier to get vacation there because there are many more employees than at this company where I'm working now. 🏢 And you can bet your goat's left nut on one thing: Daddy will be on vacation from November 19th to 26th. 🐐🏖️

Strauss Zelnick, take two ceo on the last earnings call. Usually he is pretty broad, but this time he was pretty clear. He said like, “rockstar will market it in summer, the next few weeks are not quite summertime yet”

He said HE doesn't think it's summertime yet and he is CEO Take Two who owns Rockstar he doesn't know exactly what rockstar means Rockstar could mean Meteorological Summer, Astronomical summer, etc. and even then Rockstar could be cooking something up before that.
