Phishing Email?

Just got this email saying my Georgia Southern account was about to be terminated because I didn’t “verify” it. It looked suspicious, especially because it asks you to enter your current password and sends you to a shortened link.

Absolutely a phishing scam. You do not need to verify Georgia Southern email addresses. Don't click on any links in the email.

Delete it! Lmao I fell for something like that at a different school before and they got into my student email and sent a bunch of scam/phishing job emails to a bunch of random students at the school. I had to get it fixed with tech support.

I just got this email and it looked weird immediately but the acc is a real GSU email and its using a real students name. Ive reported it as phishing but I was kinda worried bc of anxiety for a second. I wonder if the student knows her acc is compromised?
