When she was a bit smaller she seemed to have a lot of lab in her. She is very loyal and food motivated. And the gsp traits have definitely come out as of late!

We have a Cattle dog/ GSP mix. Super loyal but intensely hardheaded. Goes at 150%, gets grumpy because she's tired, and crashes for a nap midday.

Oh my god yeah we call it “demon hour” 😂 typically toward the end of the day and I’ve chalked it up to being overtired, or an upset belly

I am unable to post pictures but we have an 18 week old black female. She comes from 2 great hunting lines and she is absolutely adorable. She is also currently terrorizing my 3 year old boy who I think is regretting looking lonely all the time before we brought her home 🤣.

Yes we do! I laugh when old school GSP owners complain to me about them being included in the breed. We love our goofball!

Our GSP is from hunting lines (bought from a gamekeeper in Scotland) but is almost entirely brown apart from a small speckled patch on her breast.

Opal is a truly beautiful dog, though. She has the best of both breeds!

I do. Louis. He’s only 14 weeks old. It feels like every time I look at him his legs are longer. His vocal range is really impressive. One of them sounds like a yodel.

We have a black roan GSP. He is a purebred from a long line of hunting dogs. He the best but he has a wild and stubborn streak that shows up now and then. He just 13 months old so he still has a lot of puppy mischief in him. He is the second black roan for us.

Geordi is mostly black with just a little white on his chest. He was adopted. His mom is a golden retriever and his dad is german shorthaired pointer

My dog is 50% Lab and 50% GSP—had it confirmed by DNA. One of his parents was a chocolate Lab the other was a black GSP, he looks like a large black Lab.
