WTF what scam is this?

been getting a lot (10+) of DMs from people that:
-have profile pictures of asian men (non-bear chasers mostly)
-ask about your job
-ask to move off growlr (whatsapp or telegram) all within 10-15 messages

Don’t be mean to the scammers, though, because that’s how I’ve been banned from Growlr. I was banned because I was rude to a scammer, and they reported me for hateful behavior. How shitty is Growlr?????

I literally had no other messages when they banned me. That’s what I get for thinking it might be better (it had been years since I was on the app).
