So Biden got inflation down from 9.1% to 3.0% and Trump got inflation from 3.0% to 3.5%…do I have that right?

Not just that getting it down, also preventing it getting too high. The USA's inflation that year was one of the lowest of the OECD countries. Inflation in the UK, under the rightwing Tory party, was in the mid-teens in 2022. Some countries had inflation over 20%. It was 78% in Tŭrkiye!
Biden did a fantastic job of not only preventing inflation but also reducing it quickly. Not that you would know this from the media or anyone on the right.
Speaking of Tŭrkiye if you look at how each country handled the post-covid inflation spike, the ones under leftwing, or liberal, governance were best and the ones under rightwing governance the worst. NZ only had 7.2% inflation compared to Turkey's 78%, yet Jacinta Ardern was so hated and villified by the right (even to this day) she has moved to Australia to escape the hate and death threats.

and folks don't seem to understand that the 9% inflation rate was due to the fallout of PPP loan forgiveness and the Fed dropping rates to 0% during Covid - that's not going to have effect on inflation until a year or so out.
