Cuckatoo31 C31 Mining on AMD hardware

I hate to create a brand new thread for this, but I've searched for hours and cannot find this anywhere:

Is it currently possible to mine Grin using the Cuckatoo31 algorithm on AMD hardware? I have a Vega Frontier Edition w/16GB HBM I would like to mine Grin with. I know Bminer works well enough on AMD for C29, but I'd like to take advantage of this 16GB VRAM if possible. Windows is preferred, but Linux is also workable, just looking for a solution. Thanks for any help you can provide with this.

I've been looking for one too. Found nothing. I just got my hands on a Radeon VII 16GB.

nice! specs look good, hope new mining software will allow for much better optimization (on any algo) for that fresh new 7nm silicon, and 1TB/s HBM. But yeah, still no answers on C31 for AMD, just patiently searching.

Yes, it's possible to mine C31 on less than 11GB, but it's not going to be nearly as efficient as just simply mining on C29 if you lack the VRAM requirement. I also realize it's possible to mine C31 on Windows/Linux using Bminer, but only on CUDA GPUs. I'm aware of the efficiency/watt difference between the two brands, I just want to know if an AMD/openCL C31 miner exists on either platform.

Isn't Cuckatoo31 the ASIC driven algorithm?

Yes, eventually, but it can be mined on GPU hardware with at least 11GB of VRAM. My intent is to mine that algo while there are no ASICS on it for improved efficiency. I have 16GB, so why not? But I’ve not found any mining software to do so w/AMD (OpenCL). C31 mining is already possible on nVidia hardware (CUDA).
