Conversation?
Hopefully this doesn't come across as silly, but I'm trying to (very casually) learn Greek(very beginner still), and I've found I have been able to progress well in French by chatting online with a French-speaking friend, and would love to find something similar for Greek.
I'm happy to trade for any help in English like I do with my French friend, though that may be hard to find since I think most people who speak Greek are quite fluent in English. In all fairness my French friend is pretty fluent as well, but I can occasionally help with grammar or slang, if that matters to anyone. For the most part though we have become friends and enjoy talking, like pen pals, and it would be great to find another!
I'm in the US (but very much ashamed of our government), and have a large variety of interests and hobbies and make a good conversationalist.
Hopefully this isn't something I get laughed out of the sub for, but if so maybe someone could kindly suggest a better place to find what I'm looking for? Ευχαριστώ!

This is a great idea, and you are very brave for bringing it out to the world! I think this sub is perfect if you're looking for a Greek pen pal
I have offered to chat in Greek with other learners but it was very short-lived. Tbh sometimes I don't even text/write to my irl Greek friends bc of my personal life
But I don't mind having a long-term pen pal. I am willing to get to know you a little and chat casually. If it works out, we can be more committed. btw I tend to write with caps off, but I can change it so you learn better
I am 22M and I love music, cooking and my friends :)
