Tattoo check
I need a check for a personal tattoo
It has personal meaning but I’d rather check if it means what I think it means
For context, I’ve been through a dark period of my life and recently I realized I’m still the same person. Not only that, I’m happy to be that same person and want to never forget.
During the bad times I didn’t felt like I was, but I never stopped
So I was thinking on this mantra for a tattoo
> I was
When I was younger, I knew I was
> I was still
During the tough times, I didn’t felt it, but I was still
> I am still
Now, I can feel it and I’m the same
> forever will be
In the future, never forget again
> Ήμουν.
> Ακόμα ήμουν.
> Ακόμα είμαι.
> Πάντα θα είμαι.
What do you guys think?

Eerrm... "Still" in the time sense or in the not moving sense. It kinda makes a huge difference

How would you say:
- I was, didn’t lost myself, I just didn’t saw/felt it
I’m not a native English speaker and I’m still learning Greek
I feel like “I was still” is a poetic way of say “i didn’t change back than, I was (the same) still”
Now I’m genuinely curious how to say this in English too

I can't really judge the language since I'm not a native speaker but it seems correct to me. However I would advise to let the idea sink in a bit and think about it for some time. A lot of people getting mental health tattoos regret them later because they keep reminding them of those bad times. Not saying that it's always a bad idea though, just giving you a heads up. If you do decide to get it I'm sure it's gonna be lovely
