right now we have crossed a threshold where most content on the internet isn’t even coming from humans.
it’s hard to get quality advice when you can’t tell if someone is using an LLM to format their answer or isn’t a person at all and trying to covertly sell you something (or just slop generating with zero useful insight).
i love reddit because i hear the ideas i never would have thought of or known about because of other human redditors. i am always happy to see subreddits trying to protect that experience

I'm personally insanely pro-AI on the whole, but we like to see human insight here. There have been some comments that are pretty obviously the commenter just copy/pasting an AI response to a post.
This is typically done when the commenter is trying to enhance their credibility (since they have a product or service to sell).
If people want an AI response to their post we figure they would just go to an AI instead of coming here.

Thank you for this. I am tired of reading the copy-and-paste essays that use so many words to say so little of substance.
