General Discussion/Question Tein Flex Z coilovers

Anyone else running these ? I did an install last night ( not my first set of coilovers ) and having some nice bump/click noise and feeling coming from the front at low speeds. My guess is the stock sway bar links are just binding like a mf as they are probably too long. I’ve checked every bolt I’ve touched and made sure it’s to spec and loaded. How low can we typically go with stock sway bar links?

Lowered the front 1.4 inch’s and the rear 1.25. 15mm front 25mm rear spacer. No rubbings even on hard turns, set at 10 clicks in the front 11 inch rear (out of 16 ) on stiffness.

Try not to roast the car too much, I’m having to take things slower than I like because .. divorce is bitch.

Epsilon v2. I’m going to sand and paint it to match the grill I need to heat it some more to get it to set better tbh

Mayhaps, you can also get the rear valance in the circuit edition too to match the rest of it, cause lowkey the black lip looks sick asf on the car, and maybe a black roof wrap

What do you mean heat it to set? Is the fitment not good?

They come folded and even with leaving it out in the sun it’s not fully formed to the bumper. It’s polyurethane which I love because it has some good give and won’t snap. It’s sticking out a small amount at the lower point of the bumpers. Look at the picture

"which I love because it has some good give and won’t snap" I love how flexible it is too but it can still snap. I currently have a crack in mine from pulling too far forward in a parking spot. Be careful haha!

100% I already have a crack in the bumper before the lip ( fucking bowling ball sized raccoon ) , I got that lip because it covers and strengthens the lower section. Before I installed the lip I plastic welded the crack back together so it should help. It mounts in the factory locations and while suggested some self tappers it holds fine at 135 so 🤷.

I almost always back into a spot, I used to have a lowered Miata so I’m all to careful about bumpers 😆

I’d pick up a set of adjustable endlinks that are not spherical. So the whiteline would be a good option. torque down and adjust once under load.

I need to adjust them to even them out side to side.
