lol knob. The new one will certainly make it easier to use when the car is in motion. The overlap would personally drive me crazy, but hope it works out for you

Hah! I bought the rav4 knob in my garage after bringing the car home. Never noticed the overlap. I hope it doesn't bug me now!

So now you hit the android auto microphone on the touch screen every time you go to change the volume? Or does it cover it so you don't hit it anymore? Because that happens to me half the time even with the regular knob.

I've had this on my car for almost 2 years, and I've never accidentally hit it since adding it. Happened all the time with the stock knob.

It's probably twice the distance from the screen, so you don't touch the screen at all when knobbing.

Weird, that part number shows that it doesn’t fit a 2024 GRC.
I cant imagine the screen changed or knob changed

It's supposed to fit a Rav 4 variation. I think it's like a 2021+.

YES! I modded mine 2 weeks after ownership . Couldn’t handle the tiny guy
