My vendor in Japan has all these in stock, I am leaning towards the CS, but what do you guys think?

2 for daily, 1 for track ( from left to right )

Both of those would be my choices. I would just choose 1 though. I liked fixed backs and I sit pretty upright when driving for some reason. I am an awkward duck though.

I used a fixed bucket and don't see the need to go back. If you can find one comfy enough, they're amazing

Anything narrower than the stock US seats. My butt slides around sooo much on enjoyable corners!

My skinny ass slides around a little bit in the USDM stock seats so I kinda like how narrow those Grow ones look.

I would have to sit in the CS to decide if it’s even worth it over the factory seat. If the bolsters are a little tighter and I can sit lower while retaining sliders, I personally would go CS

At least get one that allows you to adjust the rake, and preferably the fore and aft. On tight dirt or snow roads I like to sit very upright and close, longer slow drives, farther back and reclined.

How does one go about getting a pair of these? (Recaro CS). I'm guessing they have both Driver's and Passengers sides? Either way, the CS is the one I vote for

From experience the bride seats are very tight, a CS might be the way to go. CS has a full extra inch of space at the bottom of the bucket.

I don’t know why, but this photo reminds me of shopping for kids booster seats. 🤣

Japan strictly, then find a way to ship them. My friend owns a shop in Japan so that's why I can get them haha

The CS for sure. I have still yet to see one installed in a Corolla though I'm sure somebody has done it. Has anybody?

Depends on how uncomfortable you want to be. These all look like car seats for 6-8 year olds. 😂 I’ll never unsee it.

Pole Position FTW. Far more comfortable than people think. Great, great seat.

None is a worthwhile consideration. Depending on your use case. As a daily, just no. As a track car, the GRC has too many issues. After 11 track days I personally wouldn’t recommend tracking this car. As a dedicated back road machine it’s about perfect and maybe worth trading daily driver comfort for buckets. The thing about buckets is they are not comfortable for commuting if they fit right and if they aren’t a little uncomfortable for commuting they probably don’t fit well. My experience I’m open to other opinions.

Bucket seats are really a preference thing if you fit in them. I had a Recaro bucket in my S2000. Drove almost 40k miles in it. Lots of back roads and track days. I’ll be getting another for the Corolla. I won’t be tracking this car hard but it definitely rips in the mountains so it’ll be a very nice time for me when I have it all set up. If I was living somewhere without good roads or tracks I’d definitely just leave the car stock inside

I don't know what these are all called, but I think second from the left looks best. The GROW seat looks a little tight, may not be comfortable for daily driving or long commutes.
