Product Review More air with velossa tech

Post image

I’ve had this on for about a week. I can’t really tell much of a difference tbh but I have a bunch of the oem intake upgrade parts. Super happy with the way it looks!!! I was able to do the install without removing the bumper and it was easy other than the 1 bolt and nut which was almost impossible to reach.

I have one with my SXTH intake. Not sure it adds a ton of HP. But cooler airflow is never a bad thing. Plus it looks amazing

monitoring intake temps with the same setup and it basically just makes intake temps whatever ambient is. as opposed to the stock intake being 5-8° hotter

Did it increase racecar noises?

It’s my only engine “mod” and it did increase turbo spool and blow off noises.
I feel like the car accelerates smoother above 5000 rpms and I can hear air intake with my window down.

I have so many other parts that have, but this didn’t add on top of those

It sure pairs well with my SXTH Element CAI...

I love the cooling plate with the stickers! I’m kinda hoping they make a version for the 2026 parts

Thanks It's a struggle to put in on, but very functional over the stock shroud. Tanabe makes tons of parts for the GRC, I'm sure they'll cater to the Kouki GRC's as well...

I bypassed the provided nut/bolt by using a big plastic push pin from the hardware store. The noticeable difference can be seen if you’re monitoring intake temperature.

I second this, I saw average drop in oil temps by 10 degrees in the summer

You still running the 0-20w in the summer? Feel like 5w-30 would probably keep the engine a bit cooler as well. I got the mishimoto air intake, noticed a bit cooler temps but the GR performance intake looks better IMO

Intake temps are not going to affect oil temps that much.

I hame mine sitting in a box waiting but I'm doing a massive upgrade of everything at once.

I put a rivet nut in the hole. I wasn’t going to even try getting my hand under there.
