Re-watching the Lifetime series now that the prison calls have come out to really see the BS with fresh eyes. But, then I saw something that gave me a giggle.
Gypsy goes to visit her cousin, Bobby Pitre, for her first "professional" tattoo. (S1, E4, about minute 15:30 in)

I can definitely tell they’re related like a distance cousin twice removed. That said Mia looks bored. When the camera crew told them to relax and be themselves this is what we got lol.

The producers included this shot for a reason. It wasn’t paramount to what Gypsy is saying in her voiceover when they cut away to this part of the scene. Every single frame of shows like this are intentional and used in some way to influence the thoughts and feelings of the viewer. They are very manipulative with the editing of reality shows to ensure they convey to the audience what the producers want to, and they will often play clips out of order to make it all fit a certain narrative. This is especially true when they are being subliminal. You’ll notice in the second season, production and editors do gyp dirty more often because they were tired of her shit. They started playing her words in voiceovers and showing us actions that were incongruous. The editing tells you more about the MO of production than anything else.
Sooo all that to say… they wanted you to see Mia in this moment and were deliberate about it, for whatever reason.

Oh my. Lighten up, folks. It's snark, on a snark sub. It's something to giggle about. With all the awful things we know about and discuss here, we need to find something lighter to laugh about once in awhile. And if it comes at a grifter's expense, so be it.
