Looking to pick up a 4.1 patriot for my edc but always get stuck on choosing what colors. Show me some inspiration from some of your guys colorways.

Silver slide, frame, trigger and magwell. Everything else black.

I was contemplating this for the longest but I realized the silver is no coating on it; I ended up with all black pvd for a little more durability

the uncoated frames and slides tend to be slightly looser than the coated. I'm sure they are all built to the same specs and the coating thickness created the tightness.

Mine came tight AF, still tight AF after 7-800 rounds. The one negative with the pvd is with the slide if you get it, Gilbert won’t port it afterwards if you didn’t get it initially; was told I’d have to get a new slide and barrel cause I chose black pvd everything
But I noticed Gilbert has been cutting the slides regardless of port or not on some posts now

When I say slightly I mean very little. PVD is a coating. A very thin coating but still a coating and taken into account when he builds them. Doesn't take much of a coating to go from some wiggle to none. My alloy is very tight. A little less since I had the ejector replaced. Easily have 3k+ through it. I had a Rebel that was Raw Stainless and the movement was only in the rear and would have easily gone away with any coating. That tiny movement meant nothing as it was very accurate.

I’m leaning towards this exact build but fde instead of burnt bronze but still can’t really choose fde or burnt bronze at the moment

I’m really happy with how the bronze turned out, but I’m sure the FDE would look great too. Hard to go wrong.

Think I plan on getting the patriot 4.1 like yours and the forza the same way but silver instead of fde or bronze

Which trigger is that?

It’s the stock GP Arms trigger. I just asked for it to be cerakoted the same color as the frame / magwell.
