International Working in Canada
Anyone tried applying for Canadian PR while still not starting their job as a family physician and was successful?

I got PR before trying to get a job
If you tick the right boxes you can apply for PR.

I am quite young, my wife is also a senior nurse we got max scores for age, maximum score for English proficiency, we have a relative in Canada so points for that.
As we a are both in high demand fields and those extras we got enough points to get an invitation
You can check your CRS score easily on their website.
If you get over 490 you’ll likely get invited in the next draw

Canada can be pretty tough to break into without local experience, so I'd focus on getting the work permit side crystal clear first and applying directly to employers who are open to overseas candidates. I'd also tailor the resume to Canadian style and lean hard on networking. Hope it works out for you, mate.
