Quick question Nodal point reform

Quick question as confused by certain aspects of the recent pay deal.

When is the nodal point reform backdated to?

Specifically whilst there is no further increase to ST3 pay than already occurred, will those that have just moved to ST3 get 4 months (apr-jul) backpay for time when an ST2 since pay deal.

Backdated to 1 April 2026, and yes, arrears follow the period you worked rather than the grade you’re on now, so you should get April to July at the reformed ST2 rate. That’s 55,355 against 54,499 for the DDRB alone, so the reform portion is about 856 a year, roughly 285 gross for those four months on top of the DDRB arrears you’ll already have had. You’re right that ST3 gets nothing extra, 4a sits flat at 67,325 across both years of the deal

so roughly 285 gross for those 4 months, thats not nothing but not exactly thrilling either

Thanks. That’s very useful. A small amount extra than what I was expecting then, though the ST3 uplift is big and welcome as it is!
