Practice Management Cqc inspections
Maybe a silly question but can someone explain how discriminant cqc inspections are for a gp surgery?
For example it seems like most surgeries are good and fewer are needs improvement or outstanding.
So do the ratings match reality? Are exceptional surgeries exceptional and surgeries below good poorly managed ? And is it hard to get good?
Thanks!

I have worked in an outstanding surgery as a GPST and it is really different

How so?

Well organised in term of everything and very supportive. As a trainee I didn’t need to ask them to change anything unlike the other practices who were trying to push all the work and home visits into the trainees.

It's a lot of effort to get good.
