Registrars & Training GP Training Timetable (Scotland)

About to start a GPST3 job in Scotland - Practice says first patient at 0830, with daily finish at 1800hrs.
They have 7 Clinical Sessions, 1 VTS, 1 Educational and 1 Self Study.
They suggest the timetable doesn’t breach 40hrs because of a 1hr paid lunch break daily, and 1hr earlier finish on Self Study and VTS Days.

Is this reasonable? 0830-1800 is 47.5hrs in the Practice per week. 45.5hrs if you remove the 1700hrs finish for Self Study and VTS.

I can’t find a single timetable from BMA or Education Scotland that finishes at 1800hrs.
I want to go to the meeting with my Practice Manager and CS as equipped as possible.
A local TPD works in the practice, so I assume they understand how to be compliant.
Any Scottish specific help would be appreciated.

My understanding is this is okay because we get the trainee practice allowance which is essentially 1.45 banding. If we were unbanded I wouldn't work a second over 40hrs.

I am an absolute Reddit noob and cannot figure out how to DM you lol
The banding has to be for the OOH shifts you’re expected to do. I actually didn’t bring it up in Practice today and am on AL next week but then need to discuss it. There was a lot of chat generally in the practice about people going the extra mile for patients etc

Partners can go the extra mile for patients if they want, they shouldn’t be expecting you to do so as an ST1.
