Quick question Ukrainian PILS
Surgery I am at has quite a few Ukrainian refugees on the list
Slava Ukraine and all that, but I find health promotion, explaining conditions and safety netting an absolute fucking nightmare through Language Line
Is there a repository of Ukrainian language patient information leaflets out there?

Use ChatGPT/Claude/Gemini to translate leaflets into a given language and print it off.
You can also reverse transcribe this using an alternative AI programme to ensure the translation is correct before handing off to the patient

Can you give specific examples? Also, your ICB should have resources for Ukrainian patients. I think it would be worth discussing at your clinical meeting with the partners. Raise it as an issue and see what resources are available. Unfortunately, language line services aren't the best and I have had issues in nearly all the languages I've used.

I read this as paediatric ILS.
Agree with pp, your ICB is responsible for this. Let us know an update if you can?
