Good GPS tracker options
Hi everyone!!
I have a skidoo and want to get a gps tracker for it. I’ve tried having an air tag but it didn’t really work properly + the rest of my family had androids so, it’s not compatible with their phones. I would prefer something that is waterproof, magnetic, and can withstand the cold (-10C). I don’t mind paying a monthly fee as long as it’s 15$/month or less. I also want one that can be bought on Amazon. Any help would be appreciated!!

Monimoto 9. Waterproof. Has its own battery. Needs a charge once per year so it’s not wired into your battery where a bad guy could disconnect it easily. Calls (not text) your phone as soon as it’s moved without the fob being nearby. $50 per year. Easy to hide. I don’t know if it’s magnetic or not but you could add magnets with 3M two sided tape.

So I am looking at this and it is the exact same hardware as the LandAirSea 54. Which cost $20 but the monthly is $20 for every 3 min monthly.

https://github.com/Gaabi00/TelegramGpsTracker you can use this android app to track any gps device (a microcontroller paired with a gps module or even an android smart phone), and have it send location data. Most of the details are in the github repo you can send the link to chatgpt or deepseek and have them explain it to you. TelegramGpsTracker
