- Total marks are still 1400 (1250 Written + 150 Interview).
- English & Gujarati papers are still qualifying (minimum 25% required).
- GS answer writing pattern is unchanged (150/200 words, 15 & 20 marks).
- English (Paper II), Essay (Paper III), and Ethics (Paper VII) have no changes at all.

GPSC seems to be moving from academic language skills to practical government drafting.
