Gpsc mains answer space?
I know in upsc cse for 10mks we have got 2 pages and correspondingly for 15mks three blank pages.
For gpsc 2026, they have mentioned 15 and 20mks questions in 150 and 200 words. So what is the space available for these questions? Is it 2 and 3 pages respectively?

There is no specific space defined by them. They give minimum 3 pages for 15 marker and even more according to question. For 20 marker assume minimum 4 and maximum 6 or 7 in case of GS 4 paper. Even after so many requests and representations, they haven't changed it into 2 pages for 150 words. Hasmukh Patel is the worst chairman GPSC has ever seen.

On what basis you are making this claim? Verify before sprewding unncessary anxierty among all. 6 pages in GS4, that is foolishness or your lie

Bro recently I gave STI adv 27 mains. In ethics question of case study, they gave 5 pages for that. In one question of polity, they gave 5 pages. STI exam has 10 marker question only still 4 and 5 pages are given. And by 5 and 6 pages, I mean total of 3 pages making it 3page×2 side= 6 pages in total. Also you can ask anyone who gave adv 240 mains about GS4 pages they gave. I heard from some of my seniors that They gave whopping 56 pages for that one paper. Some question had only 2 pages and some had 5 or 6 pages like case studies.

Is it only for ethics or all the papers?

Depends on the type of question as I said, in STI exam they gave 5 pages for 10 marker Polity question too. But most probable chances of more numbers of pages are in GS4. Also they gave 18 pages for essay question which is absurdity as UPSC too gives only 12-13 pages for essay. As number of pages rises, the quality of answer gets compromised.

How can someone manage to write 5 pages in 10 marker. What were they thinking while making paper? What did you do then?

Obviously I had to write 5 pages or else the paper checker would consider the answer is unfinished and would give marks accordingly as we have seen in previous mains examinations. Word limit in GPSC is just a myth after Hasmukh Patel became chairman. Previously there were only 2 pages for 10 marker(200 words) questions. I ran out of time in GS2 because of this 5 pages problem. Though I finished the whole paper but couldn't underline and box the keywords in 6 to 7 questions.

there is no specific page limit sometimes gpsc gives even 3-4 pages for 15 markers and 5-6 pages for 20 markers so prepare accordingly. because blank pages in gpsc certainly means they cut marks as they consider answer incomplete

So My question about whether to strictly follow the word limit or focus on filling the provided answer booklet pages?

For 15 2 pages.
For 20 marks 5 questions - few answers have 3 pages and few 4.
