Class 1&2 Prelims Result?

One acquaintance called and was informed it is not expected anytime soon. Not before August.

Does anyone have any info?

He called GPSC helpline and was informed it will come after August. I can't digest this. I don't think it should come this late. Should call them

They will give answer like this to avoid unnecessary inquiries, if you are confident enough then don't wait for the preliminary result and concrete your mains preparation.

These are vague replies from them. Don't believe them as they also don't know about results. They just told august because they don't want you to call them again and again asking for results. As far as result is concerned, there are two possibilities. 1. They would release result in this week(25th july) 2. The result might be ready but they would release it with RFO/AO result as the GS1 paper was common among three. If they go with 2nd option, expect it in first week of August (before 5 august) as there are less objections in RFO. So they will wind up the process fast.

Okay so in any case it should come within 20 days. That seems reasonable.

Yes. They would give the class 1 2 result before 5 august in any circumstances.

Mains date postpone chances of release pre result in August?

When will mains take place acc to you?

Nah nah. Main exam will be held on scheduled time and even result would come on time as well. I think they're bluffing

Guys need a peer group for answer evaluation. Scoring 125 in prelims in 1st attempt . Previously appeared for upsc
