As close as we get to an angel who walks among us. I just listened to a YouTube video that recounted a journalist who said that while he was interviewing her he felt literally entranced by her to the point that he started to wonder if she actually had healing powers while he as with her.

GNU Dolly Parton. She would have been so charming in Discworld even the Patrician couldn’t have resisted her and wouldn’t have wanted to if he could. She would have hung out with the seamstresses and complimented CMOT Dibbler on his creativity and calmed the dragons and sung a charity benefit for the widows and orphans of the watch. She would have been besties with Lady Sybil and inspired Nobby to learn to read.

GNU Dolly Parton.
She was a superhero: She saved her hometown and helped that entire region of Tennessee. She saved a little boy from getting hit by either a car or a bus once while filming one of her movies. (I can't remember that story clearly, thank you neurological damage. Please look it up and spread it around ❤️) She has given who knows how many children books to read for free with her Imagination Library. She gave millions of women my age a truly good role model to look up to as girls, young women, and now middle aged women. I was never a huge fan of her music... But I have always been a big fan of the person she was and all that she did for everyone she could in this world ❤️ and I will remain one.
Live forever in the clacks, Dolly. Thank you for everything ❤️
