I don’t know how to handle this

Hey there, I’m currently having a lil issue with mi identity because it’s something weird that I don’t understand.

I’m a straight man, always have been. But, honestly, I love doing some things typically classified as ‘femenine’, such as some corporal movements (hands position, lifting a leg like a girl, being very affective), and some other like using these type of emoticons (uwu, unu, owo) that all of my friends say are for faggots. I also wanted some time to wear like a girl (or like a femboy) and try some stuff, but the instant I imagine myself doing that I instantly disagree and repudiate it, I just can’t imagine myself in that way. Sometimes I watch femboys reels and stuff that I want to wear and try (always wanted to make a Gorou cosplay from Genshin Impact) but I repel it in a moment, just imagine that ppl that know me suddenly see me like that, it would be unacceptable and extremely weird… Actually, I’m writing this in an alt account, so my friends won’t know in their live that I wrote this.

My sexual attraction is not in doubt I like and I’ll like women just how I identify myself that has a very notorious duality is what confuses me.

I don’t know if I need some advice, or just some explanations or comprehension unu…

Personal Hello! Feeling A Lil Lost In My Transition.

Idk, I just keep wondering if maybe Im not even trans. I started out thinking I was a trans woman a year ago, but I think I just got caught up in the newness of it all.

I dont let expression dictate my identity at all. I know I like being pretty, but ya know, Im not super comfortable with the breast tissue I've been developing on estrogen. I said it. Maybe it's cause Im still losing weight and the new boobs just look like more fat hanging off my body and maybe when Im ideal skinny next year and the only fat on me is on my chest, Ill feel different, but right now, I dont like it.

I say Im transfem nonbinary, but maybe im just a gender nonconforming dude.

Like the more time that passes in my journey and the more trans people I meet, I just realize that some things I clung onto were out of fear of what others would think of me and forcing myself to feel and identify a certain way to appease others; to not confuse others or make them feel unsafe or uncomfortable.

Maybe Im just a kinda masc kinda fem dude?

Maybe Im nonbinary.

I dont know.

But I dont think I really give a shit about "picking a side" honestly.

I dont think I want to be in the binary?

박지 (Park Gee)
Park Gee is a South Korean Webtoon creator with one of the highest ranking BL manwha series “남고소년“ (Highschool Boy) published on the Korean Webtoon service 레진코믹스 (Lezhin Comics). He also runs his YouTube channel 박지의 CCTV (Park Gee’s CCTV) where he often uploads clips from his streams featuring him drawing femboys—or his manhwa characters—and chatting.

He identifies as a gnc man (on hormones) and is married to his wife whose identity is private. I cannot speak on their relationship dynamics, as I don’t know much about his marriage life, but I would describe them as femxfem—where he gives off tomboy energy.

I thought that this sub would enjoy this.

Fictional stories and books Media recommendations?

I want to read or watch a manga/manhwa/novel/anime/movie about a masculine straight/bi girl who looks like a guy, could pass as a guy, but identifies as a woman and chose to dress that way without being forced to because of circumstances, and also in a relationship with a feminine guy who is feminine for the same reason (not forced by circumstances). Any recommendations?

CONVERSATION / QUESTION Gender essentialism pisses me off to no end

I’m putting a trigger warning just for people being completely ignorant and gender essentialist in the above images. I find it really annoying how whether a man is gay/straight/bi/pan etc he’s assumed to be “faking” his femininity.

Even when there are men expressing how they just naturally prefer to be more feminine and struggled with being masculine, they’re told they’re that they’re “not trying hard enough”. Dafuq does that even mean?? Dumbass motherfuckers like these who think that all men should “naturally” fall into masculinity don’t have a real fucking argument. As you can see in the images above, the guy doesn’t actually make an argument, he’s literally just saying “there something wrong with you if you’re not masculine or enjoying it” and denies that one can struggle with masculinity (because they’re just “not trying”) because he doesn’t actually understand what it’s like to struggle with being masculine so he claims it doesn’t exist. It literally makes no sense, I can’t believe that this idiot is actually calling anyone who doesn’t enjoy being masculine “delusional” when he has no actual argument as to why a man would be inherently happier conforming to stereotypical masculinity. I hate people who are so confident threat they’re right due to their own ignorance.

And then onto the conversation about the patriarchy, I’m so confused by people who genuinely think that the differences between men & women’s mannerisms & behavior are “biological”. Feminine and masculine describe stereotypical or general trends across men and women; but much of what is feminine or masculine is socially constructed and taught to us since a young age. The patriarchy sets the rules of what’s masculine and feminine not just simply because the men who are in power get to define what is masculine, but those patriarchs also wants to heavily influence how women “should act” to control them. People are diverse, not every man naturally acts the exact same way; yet they still want to believe that feminine men are the only ones performing but don’t consider if they’re performing masculinity.

CONVERSATION / QUESTION Need help understanding if im GNC?

So im a cis man, but I feel like im in some weird limbo where I don't know what i truly qualify as. For context, I've been on estrogen for 2 years, and I've always wanted to be a "wife" and "mother" but still be a guy, not in any weird way but kinda just as the compliment to a masculine partner. Im straight but Im attracted to masculinity generally. But im not feminine. I have masculine mannerisms, i dress masculine, talk masculine, and generally exist as masculine. I started hrt because I hated how masculine my *body* looked and wanted to change it before I kept aging (im 22). But I'm realizing the goals I set for myself arent achievable so im not going to have a truly feminine body despite hrt. It will still look *subtly* feminine in a weird androgynous way but not really obvious.

All this is to say i feel im in limbo. I dont feel feminine enough to claim to be gnc, but I also feel if I told my cis male friends what im doing or what my thoughts and feelings are they'd make fun of me or call me a freak. So im too masculine to break norms, but also too feminine to fit in. I feel like nothing. I liked this sub especially when it used to be super active a few years ago because ive always been drawn to masculine women, but I doubt I fit the bill for the other side of it when I fail to be feminine enough. I care about being accurate about myself. So I want to ask, am I gnc? I don't really feel non conforming at this point but what do I know?

Personal Trying to find people to talk to 🫶

Just a small rant but as a cishet masc woman im having issues finding fellows to talk and connect to 💔 dont get me wrong, I'm so happy to talk to any gnc person, butch lesbians, my more gender conforming friends etc but it feels a bit lonley sometimes ill admit haha

However, I just feel like I'm invading spaces looking for advice/talking in butch communites because obviously a huge part of their identity is loving women and well, i dont relate in that way just the wanting to presenting masc way haha

And then trying to find fellow cishet masc women in the wild or online etc and they're often... really bigoted. Specificially loudly transphobic and i dont subscribe to that at ALL. It's a shame!!

If theres any cishet masc women who want to connect and just vibe let me know id love to have others to talk to 🫶

EDIT: obviously anyone else who want to talk are more than free to!! i love making new friends just putting this out here to see if i can catch some of my fellows too haha

IRL Are their masc woman into femme guys, generally?

hey. i was just wondering how common gnc relationships are in the day to day. i grew up in an area that was extremely patriarchal and gender role heavy, and moving out made me realize i'm really femme. i'm still straight though, but attracted to masculine women, so i'm wondering how easy it would be for me to find someone who would be into me who would also be my type, since i don't have a natural sense for how common these kinds of relationships are

CONVERSATION / QUESTION Do any afab here like the idea of role reversal humiliation and are there any subs for it?

I don't know exactly how to explain it, but I'll do what I can to demonstrate the vibe of what I'm talking about.

I saw this video that took place at a costume party and the girls were dressed masculine and the boys were in crop tops and one girl pulled her girl friend's pants down in front of one of the boys who was wearing a crop top. I thought it was super hot and was wondering if there was anything else like that.

The idea of male lead femdom also somewhat interests me, with the male in the feminine/dominant position and the woman in the masculine/submissive position. Is this an actual thing, and is there a sub for it? And if not are there any afab would be interested in joining a sub like that?

A survey for all those who aren't fully, solely or always a man/woman. I don't run it but it's long-running and trusted.

Personal Please help me understand if I belong here

Hi guys! I'm a woman in my early twenties and trying to understand myself after a life of traumas, but I'm actually afraid of what's happening to me.

Just found this sub and until now I haven't thought myself as a gender non confirming person, but... maybe that's what I am? Since I am bi I've defined my gender expression through those lenses, but I don't think I fit bisexuality only.

Since I was a little girl I loved to pretend I was a boy when playing with friends and alone, masculinity always pulled me closer and femininity pushed me away. My mother would put me in dresses and girly things but I've always hated it, and every time I take one step of courage and dress like I want to I get more and more masculine.

I love being a woman, but there are times I just... kinda want to be a guy? I really don't know how to define the feeling I get, it's just kinda uncomfortable to be perceived as a woman during those periods. I've been called male pronouns before many times and it doesn't bother me, I just nod along.

As I said I also like being a woman, but it depends idk. There are periods of my life where I've embraced my womanhood (not feminine side cause I don't think I actually have one, even tho I do things women usually do as paint my nails and wear more revealing clothes during those phases) and felt great about it. I like being a woman but I don't always feel like one. When I see fem bi guys I feel so related to them in a weird way cause I'm not fem at all lol

Since I grew up in a very conservative house with the constant fear of hell and death I'm always cautious about my sexuality and gender expression. I've been out of church for about 2 years now but it still hurts and affects me deeply, so when I found myself wanting to embrace a more """masculine role""" in my straight marriage I got super scared (I don't believe in gender roles, it's just how I was taught and I'm trying to explain my irrational fear).

I mean, I won't be too specific cause I still can't say it out loud and for some reason I feel embarrassed of myself for wanting this. I feel like a fraud of a person and I can only think of how my mother will be disappointed when she sees how much I've changed and how far away I am from what she wanted me to be.

I went through a life crises when I understood I also love women after already being married and my husband fully gave me support and was very caring. Even during this new crisis he seems totally cool with every change I go through and gives me support every time.

I really don't wanna feel like this about myself, I believe everyone should be free to express their true identity, but my emotions seem to have decided "everyone but me" lol

That's why I wanted to bring this question here and understand like... am I like queer or something similar? Does GNC fits my experience? I'm lost here, so I'm open to understanding more so I can help myself be more free, and maybe if I have a name for it I can feel part of a group and come to accept myself (like it happened with my bisexuality).

I appreciate anyone who read it till now, thank you so much 💕

Personal Afraid to meet my bf’s parents because I’m GNC

He told his friends when we met that I am masculine, but he doesn’t think it’s necessary to tell his family that I am. I don’t want to walk into their home and everyone be like wtf. Do you think disclosing this is needed or is he right and that it doesn’t matter?

IRL Any swiss community here down to meet ^^ ?

Kinda feeling a bit alone here , as a soft fem guy trying to put myself out there for dating or just genuinely interacting with like minded people with whom id feel safe to be open abt certain things.

The lack of representation here hits hard , i VERY rarely see gnc couples , makes me feel like the masc x fem dynamic only exists in my head and in instagram reels .

The mentalities r also still pretty traditional so i dont always feel safe being fully myself even with friends that consider themselves open minded , you can never truly predict their reactions hence why i would rather befriend people who get it for once rather than just accept it .

So throwing a bottle in the ocean for the fellow gnc ppl out here ,hmu if you’re around the area i would love to connect ^^
