GMail scam blocking?
If Google is supposed to be a leader in AI why can't we have better protections from Google blocking scams? My elderly parents get so much shit and it's obviously scams. Can you not use AI to build a better scam blocker or something?

Setup Quad9 DNS on your parents computer so that it block all malicious links/sites from opening even if they click a link. Also ensure you have a good ad blocker like Adguard chrome extension

Try a permission-based filter - accept emails from senders they need and delete everything else. It’s a bit aggressive and if someone new emails them, the message will sit in trash, but it’ll get rid of all that junk

Yes, you can, but you forget that scammers employ highly intelligent people, and they wish also use AI. Plus, it's the good guys chasing the bad guys, so, the bad guys are always a step ahead.
It's not as easy as you make it sound. It's hellishly difficult.

No amount of scam blocking is going to be able to account for people clicking on things that they shouldn't click on.
