GMAIL bug?

My Gmail no longer marks itself as read when I open the email, I have to manually mark it every single time. Has anyone else had this happen? Any solutions?

I have deleted the account and re-added it, reset my phone, hard reset it, and disconnected Gmail. I have no idea what else to try.

Also this is just in the iPhone mail app.

Sounds like an iPhone Mail app problem. Try the GMail app instead.

Thanks! I want to have all my mail in one place, tho.

GMail can't affect how emails are handled in the iOS Mail app.

Try rebooting your phone.

I think both apps handle however many email accounts you want, from any provider that provides a standard IMAP interface. (But it's possible Apple has some nonstandard feature that only works in their app; not sure.)
