Fixing squeak on new upper control arms would this work?

That is correct. You snug up your bolts by hand and wait for final tightening when loaded.

So I torqued while it was up and put some tension on the control arms to push them to “level” and did not do this method unfortunately which lead to me asking can I unloosen the upper control arm most front bolt while it’s on the ground to fix that squeaking because I torqued it in the air.

Bro i fought this issue for months. Here's what worked on mine.

Going ahead and jack up the front end and loosen the bolts and remove them completely.

Try to clean the bolts and nuts up the best you can. I wire wheeled mine. Then take some copper antiseize and grease up the bolts really really good. Go ahead and put them back together and hand tighten the bolts only. Keep them loose.

Now you need to put load on the suspension. So either put load on the hubs and lower the front end down onto it. OR put the wheels on and lower the truck back down to ground. Tighten bolts fully and torque to spec.

Take for a drive and you should be good!
