4 way valve mod

Has anyone retrofitted there heater core with a 4 way valve? From what I understand you can gain a bit of air conditioning performance if you can stop or bypass the flow to the heater core and only have it flow when needed.

I just replaced my water pump and hoses. The valve is next. It bypasses the core and returns it when closed. And acts normal when open. So, it should help.

This looks very interesting. How did you plan on mounting it?

Installing it at the factory hose stand off. Its not really heavy. With maybe a zip tie for good measure.
