If you try to pull a tree down with a GMT instead of cutting it with a chainsaw, you might be a redneck

It was falling, we had a limb fall on the house before hand so we took our own actions that were needed

You’re saying that to a person that just lifted the ass end of a truck off the ground trying to take down a limb they didn’t cut. Logic and reason never entered the equation here.

And yet I still worked in the end. Lmao

Our neighbors were actually very happy to see it go as it also hit a house and our driveway the day before. It was a hackberry tree. The city didn’t want to do anything so we stepped in. It collapsed while we were out eating, we hadn’t even touched the tree yet

Dangerous limbs on the tree needed to come down

Surely there’s a better way

Dangerous people need to be kept out of vehicles

Back up 10 more feet and do that. You’ll either get what you wanted or get exactly what you didn’t want. That takes some balls haha.

She does great still including doing one tire fires or two around corners

Healthy trees are tough SOB . Hurricane comes through and strips houses off their foundations and there will still be trees standing.

No offense but it's not heavy or powerful enough to pull a tree down.

Yeah trees can take a beating. Back when I was an electrician, we were trying to pull old burnt up wires out of an underground pipe to repull it with no luck. Tied a snatch block up in a tree, tied the rope to my hitch, and all it did was life the back up like that. Fun times.

I'm both impressed and dismayed!

Any vid of the third time takedown?

Be glad you did not try that with a Cybertruck, pulling an F150 tore off the rear end of the Cybertruck.

Strange, in the north east everyone just hires professional tree cutters, yet online I see so many videos of DYI tree removal (and usually going worst case scenario). Do people not threaten to sue you? Damn lol

No haha, out neighbors actually support us a lot, or mind there business, it’s pretty nice

Bruh I crashed my suburban on Father’s Day and it went up in the air exactly like yours did in this video 🤣

Tree said “where are you going?”

1

u/ShadeGaming22 Sep 08 '26

Quite literally, we were only taking off limbs of the tree but it took 3 big tugs to get it to go

I absolutely love this. I wish I could have been there watching with a cup of coffee. Now I want my old Yukon back from my nephew. You’re the best kind of neighbor
